Max Bill Rate: $103.15

-Reason for opening: New Positions

-Interview Process: Should be all virtual, if they are unsure about a candidate they may ask them to come on-site if they are able to, but all virtual is fine for candidates that are relocating. Usually 1-2 rounds of interview, mix of soft skills and technical skills questions. Candidates should join from a laptop and be prepared to share their screen if requested. A screenshot photo of candidate will be required for any interviews as well as a vendor present at beginning of virtual interview to validate candidate

-References: Manager is requiring 2 PROFESSIONAL REFERENCES. Please attach to bid in a SEPERATE DOCUMENT

-Assignment Duration: Projected to be a 1yr+ contract, dependent on business need

-Hybrid Work Schedule (non-negotiable): There is NO remote-only option. Wednesdays and Thursdays are REQUIRED on-site days (cannot be modified)

-Open to candidate local to the Lansing, Michigan area or those willing to relocate from DAY ONE at their OWN EXPENSE.

Required

•5+ years of Java – Strong object-oriented programming skills and familiarity with Java-based enterprise application development.

•5+ Years of Spring Boot – Experience with creating RESTful APIs and using Spring Boot for building scalable and maintainable applications.

•5+ Years of Angular – Proficient in developing responsive, single-page web applications using Angular.

Preferred

•Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

•Exposure to CI/CD tools and version control systems like Git.

•Understanding of secure coding practices and application performance tuning.

Job Summary

The Application Development Associate is responsible for designing, building, testing, and supporting both new and existing software applications including Mobile app for child support. This role plays a key part in developing program modules and providing reliable production support for designated applications or systems. The associate collaborates closely with Application Architects, Business Analysts, and other team members to ensure technical solutions align with business goals and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, build, and test application programs, including new development and enhancements to existing modules.

•Provide production support, including issue analysis, bug fixes, testing, and deployment to production environments.

•Collaborate with Application Architects and Business Analysts to confirm and validate both functional and technical designs.

•Develop and maintain necessary technical documentation and participate in design reviews as scheduled.

•Analyze requirements, code, and test simple to moderately complex program modules, ensuring quality and compliance with design specifications.

•Apply sound technical, industry, and domain knowledge to all tasks and project work.

•Contribute to continuous improvement efforts in coding practices, system performance, and team processes.
