Job Description: Administrative Assistant 1
Position: 26 week Contractor Role with possible extension
Location: State Government building 302 W. Washington Street Indianapolis, IN 46204
In-office Position Hours per week: 37.5
Daily Scheduled time: 8 am – 4:30 pm with a 1 hour lunch break
Position Overview: We are seeking a meticulous and organized contractor for a 6-month engagement with the State of Indiana. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in supporting our team through efficient report processing, data entry, and data management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Report Processing: Accurately compile, review, and process reports, ensuring all data is up-to-date and correctly entered into our system. Collaborate with team members to verify the accuracy of information and resolve any discrepancies.
• Data Entry: Precisely input and update data into our systems, maintaining data integrity through regular checks and audits to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Data Management: Maintain and organize a filing system within our database to ensure easy access and retrieval of documents. Implement best practices for document management and storage
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in report processing, data entry, and data organization.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data management software.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Easily able to learn new systems
Responsibilities and required skills
Prior experience in a role with strong data entry and accuracy. (1 Years)
Prior experience in a role requiring verification of accuracy of data entry. (1 Years)
Prior experience with report processing, compiling, reviewing and ensuring accuracy of report data. (1 Years)
Prior experience with document management and organization within a database. (1 Years)
Microsoft Office Suite proficiency. (1 Years)
