Job Description

NC DHHS requires the services of a senior Agile Scrum/Flow
Master in the NC FAST organization with the responsibilities for supporting the
agile teams in their agile ceremonies and planning and implementation of Epics
and features that adds business value for both the project and the operations
and maintenance. This role will perform daily assignment tracking,
prioritization with business and divisions and will be involved in removing
impediments for the team, and release planning with technical leads and team. This
role will help with daily srum meetings, backlog refinement meetings, sprint
planning and other agile ceremonies along with monthly releases, quarterly PI
planning and other status meetings for managerial briefings and updates. This role
will also help in measurig various metrics in the agile teams and drive continuous
improvement, guiding and coaching team to achieve agile maturity along with
planning, managing, and delivering solution for program backlogs. This position
will work as Scrum/Flow master under Aqua portfolio and will be used for
various NC FAST program efforts around FNS and EPI programs and potentially
help other programs supported in Aqua portfolio for agile transformation, RSC
meetings, Sync meetings etc. This role will also help with the quarterly PI
planning and RSC coordination across NC FAST and potentially across Aqua
Portfolio in the near future.

Responsibilities and required skills

Strong experience understanding and implementing Agile values, principles, and practices (i.e., Kanban, Scrum) based on Team's maturity. (7 Years)
Strong hands on experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and SharePoint. (7 Years)
Experience with JIRA to create/enhance dashboards, monitor progress of sprint/work flow, and providing statuses in timely manner. (7 Years)
Demonstrated experience working on multiple priorities and/or projects simultaneously without impact to quality of work. (7 Years)
Experience working with stakeholders for backlog item prioritization, grooming, and understanding of epic/stories/tasks (7 Years)
Experience with work breakdown and estimation, sprint planning, monitoring progress and removing impediments to deliver solutions for business needs. (7 Years)
Strong experience using facilitation and communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences. (5 Years)
Strong experience using risk and business impact analysis and reporting skills. (7 Years)
Experience in gaining buy-in and support from stakeholders (4 Years)
Experience managing, maintaining, and analyzing data to derive meaningful and actionable insights about the portfolio. (4 Years)
Demonstrated experience using effective leadership, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills. (4 Years)
Demonstrated experience working with planning just enough, just in time to START moving forward. (4 Years)
Certified Agile Scrum Master or Kanban Flow Master (5 Years)
Experience with Program Increment (PI) planning and tracking dependencies across functional teams. (3 Years)
Demonstracted experience on the technical side of the application development cycle to support the agile teams in driving enhancements and projects. (7 Years)
Certified SPC or SAFe agilist in SAFe transformation (3 Years)
Certified Project Manager (5 Years)
