The State of Michigan is looking for: Programmer Analyst 3
Max Bill Rate: $77.55/hr
This role is focused on Graphic Design or Visual Arts and is not intended for developer-based backgrounds.
Portfolio submission required to demonstrate design skills and project experience
2-3 professional references required

Top Skills & Years of Experience:
• 3-5 years of experience in user interface (UI) design
• 3-5 years of experience conducting user research
• Degree or certification in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, User Interface Design, or a related field
Preferred:
• Experience designing in alignment with established design standards
• Knowledge of WCAG guidelines and experience designing for accessibility
• Experience conducting usability testing
• Experience performing accessibility (ADA) testing

– Vendor submissions will close on 6/15 at 10am ET. Late submissions will not be accepted.
– Reason for opening: Backfill, team is in need of additional support
– Interview Process: 60-minute Virtual Interview via MS Teams (video required). Candidates should join from a laptop and be prepared to share their screen if requested. A screenshot photo of candidate will be required for any interviews as well as a vendor present at beginning of virtual interview to validate candidate. We are planning to schedule interviews the week of 6/22
In-person interviews are preferred by the management team, if possible.
– Assignment duration: Ongoing long-term contract with the potential for extension based on performance and business needs
– Hybrid Work Schedule (Non-Negotiable): There is no remote-only option
Required onsite days- Tuesdays and Wednesdays
Remote eligible days- Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays
The resource must meet these requirements from the beginning
– Candidates must be local to the Lansing, Michigan area (within 90 miles) at time of submission. This requirement is non-negotiable
