Job Description

No travel is required. This is a Monday-Friday, 8-5 position. The Division of Health Benefits follows a hybrid work model. The client will require 8 days per month onsite. Remote option is available, upon approval, for the selected candidate that may not be local to the Raleigh, NC area.

The purpose of the position will be to create in-person and online training content to support organizational initiatives and business units. Strong instructional design and technical knowledge a must. Strong content development and writing skills needed. Ability to create resources to support employee learning, such as tips, job aids, and templates. Good research skills. This position will facilitate and support live virtual meetings and events. Strong presentation, communication, and collaboration skills. Must be professional, available during work hours, responsive, and timely. Must be attentive to detail and meet required timelines for deliverables.

DHB prefers experience with following tools: SharePoint page administration, Adobe Articulate (Storyline and Rise) & Camtasia, MS Teams. Candidates with experience developing curriculums or training in partnership with subject matter experts is preferred. Creating training videos and microlearning, a plus. Use of voiceover tools a plus. Interest in continually learning new software and keeping the team updated on changes to software, is desired.

This position works with: Associate Director of Organizational Development, Training and Support Specialists, Learning and Development Consultant, Organizational Development Consultant, and an Administrative Support Specialist.

Responsibilities and required skills

Experience in curriculum design and developing training materials for adult learners (3 Years)
Strong content development skills needed. (3 Years)
Instructional design and technical knowledge needed (5 Years)
Understands the NC Medicaid Program that drive the efforts of the county, regional, and state staff who administer those programs. (3 Years)
Adobe Articulate 360 (3 Years)
Experience with adult learning practices, principles and procedures in classroom and on-line presentations (3 Years)
This position will support live virtual meetings and events. Strong presentation, communication, and collaboration skills. (3 Years)
Preferred tools: Adobe Articulate & Camtasia, MS Teams, Microsoft products, Webex (3 Years)
